The digital platform will highlight theme parks, hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues, providing an immersive overview of potential business event locations. This approach allows prospective clients to preview Yas Island’s offerings, generating excitement before their real-world visits.

Jonathan Brown, Chief Portfolio Officer of Miral, emphasized the significance of the partnership. “By utilizing e& enterprise’s cutting-edge technologies, we can showcase Yas Island’s exceptional business event capabilities. This project is in line with our efforts to position Yas Island as a global hub for business events, while also strengthening Abu Dhabi’s standing as a key MICE destination.” He added that the collaboration will elevate Abu Dhabi’s growing reputation for innovation and foster tangible business results.

Salvador Anglada, CEO of e& enterprise, expressed enthusiasm for the project. “We are proud to partner with Miral to bring Yas Island to the metaverse. This initiative highlights our role as a leader in immersive experiences and showcases the potential of metaverse technology to transform real-world business interactions. Our goal is to push the boundaries of digital innovation, redefining what’s possible in the business events industry.”

The platform will allow global clients to access Yas Island’s event spaces in real time, with avatars enhancing the experience. The virtual environment will support event organizers as they explore venues, design event layouts, and collaborate with Yas Island’s events team, making the planning process more engaging and efficient. Leveraging advanced 3D modeling, real-time interaction tools, and spatial audio, the project provides a seamless experience directly accessible via web browsers.

It also incorporates augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and AI technologies to create an interactive space for business event planning, integrating targeted advertisements and promotional content that capture the attention of users. By setting a new benchmark for showcasing business event capabilities, the Yas Island Metaverse project aims to boost local tourism and contribute to the region’s economic growth, further positioning Abu Dhabi as a leading destination for business and leisure.
